8:30: Screening of "Mary Lou" at the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, The Castro Theatre, 429 Castro Street, San Francisco, CA

In partnership with Congregation Sha'ar Zahav, the LGBT Alliance of the Jewish Federation, and A Wider Bridge, Keshet will be hosting a pre-screening soiree in conjunction with the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival showing of the Israeli hit miniseries "Mary Lou" on Sunday, July 24th. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Eytan Fox, Infectious pop songs and high-energy choreography explode onto the screen between colorful plot twists, hearty doses of high school ennui and candid explorations of LGBT life in contemporary Israel. Read more about the film here.

We will provide a light supper from 6-7:30pm at Congregation Sha'ar Zahav, and movie tickets. We plan to walk over to the Castro Theater (about 7 minutes away) to view the film together.

Due to limited numbers, we ask that you RSVP, and kindly invite you to consider making an $18 suggested donation toward the evening's entertainment, which includes the movie ticket.
